A nonprofit, Children Unlimited, Inc., serves primarily low income children.  Like most child service agencies, our access to state and local funds continues to decrease while demand for our services continues to increase.  In twenty-two years, we have never turned away a family in need. 

By using the available Pledge Form to gift money to our organization or an existing program, you can help us as we continue our mission of serving at-risk and special needs children in our community.

Help Support Our Programs

Children Unlimited has recently launched a core new program desperately needed in our rural community, the Pediatric Evaluation and Treatment Center. Previously, families of developmentally delayed children had to wait a year or longer for an appointment at Dartmouth or Maine Med, costing them precious time that could have been spent treating their child. Now, twice a month these same families can meet with a multidisciplinary pediatric team at CU to receive an evaluation of their child and start the therapeutic process.

Services include:

• Developmental Evaluations
  
  
• Therapy (speech/language, physical and occupational)
  
  
• Fussy Baby Assessments
  
  
• Autism Spectrum Disorders interventions
  
  
• Consultation Services

Funding remains critical for this new program. 2008 Target: $25,000
