June 7, 2008: Children Unlimited, Inc. commemorated the opening of its new $1.3 million school with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony. Alumnae Chester Eastwood and Staci Blair did the honors as over a hundred and fifty supporters turned out to tour the new facility and celebrate how one community could transform the Little School That Could into the Big School That Would.

May 13, 2008: The Pequawket Foundation has gifted Children Unlimited, Inc., with a $2,000 grant toward CU’s proposed natural playground. This brings the total funds raised for the new $80,000 playground to $37,000. Thank you Pequawket Foundation!
April 28, 2008: The USDA has awarded Children Unlimited, Inc. a $35,000 grant toward the development of a natural playground. Natural playgrounds utilize materials from the great outdoors, such as boulders, tree stumps, and earthen tunnels to create exciting and stimulating play spaces for kids. Children Unlimited is very grateful to the USDA for supporting this $80,000 project!
October 2007: NHPR supports the work of Children Unlimited, Inc. NHPR began airing recently recorded nonprofit radio spots, including a segment on CU. The spots can be heard on New Hampshire Public Radio at: 88.3 Nashua, 89.1 Concord, 90.3 Nashua, 90.7 Keene, 91.3 Littleton, 91.3 Hanover, 97.3 Plymouth, 99.5 Jackson, 103.9 Portsmouth, 104.3 Dover and 107.1 Gorham. October 2007: Valley Vision supports the capital campaign for Children Unlimited, Inc. Valley Vision recently recorded a five minute TV ad, featuring Children Unlimited’s ongoing capital campaign for a new special needs preschool and childcare facility. The ads were donated by Valley Vision. The ads can be viewed locally on Channel 3.
