Therapeutic Services

Children Unlimited, Inc. provides a variety of services to all families with children ages birth to eighteen years. Our professional staff has extensive pediatric experience and specialty certifications including: Early Childhood and Special Educators; Speech and Language Pathologists; and Occupational and Physical Therapists. In addition, the staff includes trained and experienced paraprofessionals who are teacher assistants, home visitors, parent mentors, special education aides and childcare providers. These staff members are available for our in-house programs, as well as to serve families and children in their homes and other community settings. Our staff is also available for consultation to local agencies, school districts and their personnel.

Therapeutic Services include:

• Developmental Evaluations (cognitive, fine/gross motor, sensorimotor, speech/language, adaptive, social/emotional/behavioral)
  
  
• Therapy (speech/language, physical and occupational)
  


• Child-directed therapy services (4 to 12 years)  
  
  
• Autism Spectrum Disorders Child-directed therapy services (4 to 12 years) (Autism specific interventions)
  
  
• Family Connections Resource Center (family support, parent aide, mentoring and counseling, parent education, parent support groups, extended case management, supervised visitation)
